Teacher Horizons’ Speed Matching service

Online recruiting is becoming the ‘new normal’ however, for us at Teacher Horizons, we have been pioneering online recruitment for almost a decade.

Since 2011, we have placed over a thousand international teachers in hundreds of international schools all over the world. In 2020, we introduced our Speed Matching service and over 30 schools have taken part in events so far.

What is online Speed Matching?

We have developed ‘Speed Matching’ events as an alternative to virtual recruitment fairs. We have focussed on saving our partner international schools time by enabling them to interview a carousel of carefully selected and pre-screened candidates. After these initial one-hour events, participating schools can follow-up with the candidates they match with.

This saves you hours of valuable time and provides you with the opportunity to reconnect with your favourite candidates that you feel are the best suited to your school.

How does it work?

It’s very straightforward, WE shortlist, screen and pre-interview the best teachers for your required subjects. Then YOU dedicate just one hour to meeting up to ten selected teachers.

Our aim is to save recruiters time. So, in just one hour you will meet a variety of suitably qualified candidates and, if you’re keen to follow up, you will have the opportunity to arrange a longer interview after the event.

Flexibility

Unlike typical ‘virtual fairs’, Speed Matching is not constrained by time and space. So we can tailor events to demand – subject focussed, location focused, curricula focussed and so on. We can also tailor events for specific schools if they have a range of vacancies to fill.
